User Agreement

Welcome to ePloys.com. This User Agreement (the “Agreement”) outlines the terms and conditions that govern your use of the ePloys freelance marketplace platform. By accessing, registering, or using ePloys.com, you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.


1. Definitions

  • “Platform” refers to the website ePloys.com and all related services, applications, or tools.
  • “User” refers to any individual or entity accessing or using the platform.
  • “Buyer” refers to users who purchase services from freelancers.
  • “Seller” or “Freelancer” refers to users offering services (gigs or custom offers).
  • “Gig” refers to the service listing published by a seller.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use ePloys.

By using the platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You meet all age and legal requirements in your country.
  • You have not been previously suspended or removed from ePloys.


3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must register for an account:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Maintain confidentiality of your credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You are responsible for all activities under your account.


4. Use of the Platform

You agree to:

  • Use ePloys for lawful purposes only.
  • Respect other users and their rights.
  • Not copy, modify, or distribute platform content without permission.
  • Not engage in spam, fraud, or abusive behavior.


5. Fees & Payments

ePloys is a 0% commission platform. However, the following third-party charges apply:

  • 8% for applicable government taxes (SST/GST/VAT, based on your country).
  • 4.5% for payment processing fees (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, local gateway partners).

Buyers must make payments through the platform. Sellers must not request payments outside ePloys, as doing so will violate this Agreement.


6. Seller Responsibilities

  • Deliver services as described in your gig or offer.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Honor delivery timelines.
  • Avoid plagiarism or prohibited content.

Failure to meet expectations may result in account action, order cancellation, or refund to the buyer.


7. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Provide clear, complete project instructions.
  • Make timely payments.
  • Avoid requesting services that violate ePloys policies.
  • Use the platform for communication and dispute resolution.


8. Intellectual Property

All original work delivered by freelancers remains their intellectual property until payment is completed. Upon full payment, intellectual property rights are transferred to the buyer unless otherwise stated.


9. Disputes & Refunds

Disputes between users should first be addressed directly. If unresolved, our Trust & Safety Team may step in to mediate based on platform policy. Refunds are granted under specific conditions as outlined in our Refund Policy.


10. Account Suspension & Termination

ePloys reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts violating this Agreement.
  • Remove content or gigs that breach policy.
  • Deny access to the platform for any reason deemed harmful to the community.

Users may delete their accounts anytime by contacting support.


11. Limitation of Liability

ePloys is not liable for:

  • Any damages resulting from service delivery issues between users.
  • Losses related to payments processed via third parties.
  • Temporary service interruptions, bugs, or unauthorized access.

Use of the platform is at your own risk.


12. Privacy Policy

By using ePloys, you agree to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We are GDPR-compliant and follow local data protection regulations.


13. Changes to the Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this User Agreement at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of ePloys after changes means you accept the new terms.


14. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
